HBL News: Front around the clock

Swedish designers Front have designed a clock for Italian brand Porro on which the hours are cast by shadows. Each of the twelve numbers is fixed perpendicularly to the face, and can be read straight-on if lit from the right.

The design, called 'Front around the clock', is currently on show at Porro's Milan showroom and will makes its official debut, alongside the rest of the 2011 collection, during next year's Salone del Mobile.
