Swedish Furniture giant Ikea boasts €11.4 million profit as consumers spend €2 million a week; making Irish Ikea amongst the most profitable in Europe, reports The Irish Times and Planet Retail.
“We continue to invest in our prices in the long term and to improve the shopping standards for our customers, and believe we can further strengthen our position in the market as a value for money retailer during these difficult times." (The Directors' report filed with Companies Office, Ikea)
