Paul Cocksedge Studio has been commissioned to create a large-scale installation for Beijing Design Week, which takes place 26 September - 3 October this year.
Cocksedge is creating Manuscript (Seats of Poetry), a 20 metre long sculpture made up of rolled steel, fabricated by local manufacturers. He said of the piece: "This structure speaks to so many different aspects of Chinese and British history and culture: poetry and writing, the power and beauty of nature, and of course, man-made engineering and design".
