Brazilian trade fairs Craft Design and Paralela Gift bring to the market the newest trends in design, arts and crafts. This year, religious themes were reinvented with bright colours and innovative design, and a little touch of fun was added to pieces making the ambience more colourful and playful.

Recycling and reuse of materials is not new as a trend, but now designers are exploring more colours and textures. The pieces are more interesting and the concept goes from the material through the production including packaging and promotion. More and more brands are also learning how to explore nature's diversity and using more natural and ecological material.

Humorous designs with a pop aesthetic are used to bring fun and colour to decor. Clashes of colours and prints as well as animal motifs and exagerated details show up in different pieces, from tables to picture frames.
