London gallery
Contemporary Applied Arts will be transformed into the home of a Modernist furniture collector during the London Design Festival this September.
The exhibition, called domesticMATTERS, will draw parallels between significant pieces of Modernist furniture, from
Rocket gallery, and contemporary craft pieces by a selection of designer-makers.

Curators Brian Kennedy and Peter Ting hope to show the links between British manufacture and British craft, and have chosen a number of designers who are familiar from collaborations with brands such as
SCP,
Benchmark and
John Lewis.

All of the pieces shown in the exhibition will be available for sale, with prices starting at £60. domesticMATTERS will run 7 September - 6 October 2012.
